Ellen Freise-March is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist who began her clinical work in Pittsburgh, PA.  

Ellen is also a Certified Pennsylvania State Educator and worked as a teacher for 27 years focusing on all areas of teaching with an emphasis on assessment of learning issues and the design and implementation of educational support for children.  After retiring from teaching she attended Chatham University and earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology.

Additionally, Ellen was trained through the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Promoting Mindful Practice in Medical Education and Practice as well as Mindful Practice: Focus on Serious and Life Limiting Illness. 

She was trained in psychological first aid by the American Red Cross, as a certified clinical trauma professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals and as an EMDRIA trained EMDR therapist.

As an interpersonal neurobiological focused therapist specializing in trauma, her education and clinical experience enables her to help those who are dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, educational concerns, health & wellness, interpersonal relationship issues, mindfulness, loss, grief and bereavement, as well as palliative and hospice support counseling.  Her goal is to provide support and help to individuals of all ages to discover their strengths as they work through life’s challenges.

Additionally, Ellen is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, the International Association of Trauma Professionals, and EMDRIA.
