Tahseen ur Rehman is a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Mental Health Counseling student, with experience working in a clinical setting. She is well-versed in a variety of therapeutic techniques and counseling theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Existential Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. She has also earned a CBT Practitioner certification through Udemy and completed the 40-hour Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) training.

Tahseen specializes in treating clients experiencing Depression and Anxiety. Her academic journey began at the International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is now advancing her expertise by pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Duquesne University, nearing the completion of her coursework.

Currently, Tahseen is completing her internship at Orenda Counseling Center under the supervision of Ellen Freise-March, MSCP, LPC, NCC, further refining her clinical skills and gaining valuable hands-on experience. With her deep knowledge, clinical experience, and empathetic approach, Tahseen is passionate about guiding clients through their mental health challenges, fostering resilience, and helping them lead more fulfilling lives as well as being committed to accessible mental health care.

 

Tahseen is fluent in English and Urdu.  She also leads a support group for individuals who have immigrated and are looking to navigate the challenges of coming to the United States.
